	We met Linda a number of years ago when we were first kicking around the idea of moving to Ames. She was so great to work with that we maintained contact and then used her as our agent when we decided to make the move several years later. She showed us so many homes in Ames as we worked to decide what we wanted for our retirement years, and one showing was during a snow storm! There was Linda, all bundled up with a smile on her face! For various reasons (rental property, home availability, etc) we bought and sold two more times, all with Linda. We wouldn't have even considered another agent! She's experienced and really knows the Ames market. She was always there for us and always looked out for our interests. From first showings through negotiations and closings.

	Let me give 4-stars to Linda. I have as healthy suspicion of realtors as I do of car salesmen (maybe its my years in California). So when we decided to move to Iowa, she put up with my cynicism. She analyzed what she felt would suit us, and was right. She took the initiative (un-asked) to take us to a social group which she felt would meet some of our needs. She was very active in negotiating the price of the house we decided on, to what we wanted to pay. All that earned her THREE points. The Fourth point, beyond the call of duty, was to do with the California Zephyr! We decided to travel by train from California to Iowa in early November. Only after I had booked the ticket did I discover that the nearest station on the line was a couple of hours drive from Ames, and there was neither a bus service nor a car rental center! So Linda came to pick us up. A long drive, an unclear schedule, and the train ended up being 4 hours late. On top of that, coming thru the Rockies in a snow storm, I realized that not only was I wearing open sandals without socks (the Californian way), but that I had no socks packed in our accompanying suitcases. Iowa in November! I phoned Linda and asked if she would bring a pair of socks to the train when she met us. She did, thus earning her 4th star****

	Linda, was exactly the right fit for us! She was efficient with knowledge of the housing market and returned calls promptly, answering all our questions. Most importantly, she made the effort to understand our needs and when it came time to make a decision, she was patient and not pushy.
